PlayStation Move.vs.Microsoft Kinect

Kinect:

The camera is key to Kinect as it's the fundamental of how the whole system works. The Kinect bar has an array of three of them lined up which are able to track a staggering 48 skeletal points of the human body, meaning that it can sense motion down to the level of individual finger movements.
It can track two users at the same time, it includes face recognition software, runs at 30fps and can be used for video chats over the Internet with other Xbox users as well as those on Windows Live on their PCs too.

Playstation Move:
The PlayStation Move controller relies on working in tandem with the PlayStation Eye USB camera in order to provide tight gesture tracking and control. There's just the one lens running at 120fps at a resolution of 320 x 240px or 60fps at 640 x 480px, but you can still capture video and stills as well as edit what you store.

Wii Motion Controller:
The Wii Remote has two-axis motion detection and a gyroscope for picking up rotational movement. It connects to the main box via Bluetooth and requires AA batteries to keep it running. For the non-motion games, it also has a full Nintendo D-pad controller and buttons on each one and you can extend the functionality with the Nunchuk which adds an analogue joystick and off-hand motion sensor.

Which is best PS3 or Xbox360

PS3.VS.Xbox360
The Sony PlayStation 3 is the third in the PlayStation series and is expecting great success upon its release on November 2006 in Japan, United States, and in Canada. PlayStation 3 is integrated with the latest and unique technology in a gaming console. It has features like the Blu-ray drive that is not found in other gaming consoles available in the market today.
The Blu-ray drive is one of the latest disc drives available presently. What makes Blu-ray special is it has a much larger capacity to store data, meaning it will allow game developers to show their creativity and add detailing effects to make the game more realistic than ever before.

PS3:
The PlayStation 3 gaming console can also be equipped with a Wi-Fi. This technology will enable you to connect to the Internet wirelessly and it will be able to give you the capability to play online PS3 games along with millions of players worldwide. Think of this as a virtual community where you can make friends with someone halfway around the world.
PlayStation 3 also has Bluetooth wireless controllers available. This means that it can definitely let you have a more enjoyable experience when you play a PlayStation game. With PlayStation 3, you can also upgrade the hard disk.
PlayStation 3 also has the backward compatibility feature which allows you to play your old PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games in your new PlayStation 3 gaming console,But Now Sony has removed the emotion engine chip from PS3 so people are facing problems and cannot play back-up games.
Xbox360:
Xbox 360 also offers one of the best features in a gaming console. Microsoft has thought all about the needs of consumers in a gaming console. Because of this, they developed and manufactured the Xbox 360 gaming console system that virtually has everything that you need in a gaming console system.
It has wireless controllers, upgradeable hard drive, Xbox Live headset to let you chat with your friends when playing Xbox 360 online games, WiFi adapter and can also be integrated with the Xbox Live Vision.

The Xbox 720 Going to be Released?

Now as Xbox 360 became a crowd favorite, I am expecting the same would happen with Xbox 720. Reports say that it's going to see the light in 2013 but it's just an estimate, people are not sure about the date but they are very much sure about the configuration of the new Xbox. Xbox 720 will be very user friendly and like its predecessor it would also have the same gaming platform which is visual basic ie .net. Rumors also say that Intel has made a deal with Microsoft to provide the console with processors and graphic cards. The CPU could possibly be quad core or triple core, which would be accompanied by a 16 MB RAM and a main memory of 4 GB provided for high speed. Since the game console is coming in between 2012-2013, it is expected that every one in the US will have an Internet connection. So Ethernet connectivity will be one of the features with wireless USB. I think the best feature in Xbox 720 is the introduction of Blu-Ray which will take the storage capacity of the game from 250 GB to 750 GB with a possibility of wireless motion sensor game controllers.
Meanwhile the latest gossip says that Sony is burning the midnight oil to make sure that the PS4 is launched before Xbox 720 and is the better video game. Well at this time many things are uncertain and you just cannot have a definite answer on the Xbox 720 release date or its price. We just have to wait and watch for the right moment.

Sony’s PS3 Update Could Affect Supercomputer Users

If you’re one of the many scientists and researchers using a PlayStation 3 as a cheap alternative to a supercomputer, you’ll want to steer clear of Sony’s latest firmware update.
Sony will offer a software upgrade on April 1 that will disable the “Install Other OS” feature that was available on PS3 systems prior to the slimmer models. The feature allowed users to run Linux on the console. Now, Sony says “security concerns” have forced it to remove the functionality.
Users who get the latest OS version will lose access their older data after the update.
The PlayStation 3 has emerged as a favorite among researchers looking to create homebrew supercomputers on the cheap. When clustered, the PS3’s Cell processor — developed by Sony, IBM and Toshiba — can rival the power of a supercomputer, say some researchers.
Stanford has a Folding@home initiative where PS3 users can sign up to use their machine as part of a distributed computing project that simulates protein folding.
PS3 users not choosing to upgrade to the latest version will pay a price. They will lose the ability to sign into the online PlayStation network, chat or play Blu-ray discs that require the latest version of the operating system.
